Just off of Hwy 82 at mile marker 29, right between Cloudcroft and Mayhill, you will find Lazy Day Cabins & RV Hideaway. We've been told we have the best views on the mountain.

Our Cabins and Motel rooms are smoke free and some are pet freindly.  We have 6 cabins, 3 Motel rooms, 10 full size RV Spaces with Full Hook Ups, and a Large Covered Pavilion with an enclosed and fully equipped kitchen which can be rented for large gatherings. We welcome family reunions and church retreats. There's nothing like spending quality time together in 70 degree summertime weather. Or, visit us in the fall for the hunting season or to see the fall color, or in the winter to experience the snow. Our average snowfall is up to 100 inches per season, so you can enjoy skiing at our local ski mountain, or tubing, sledding, 4-wheeling, or snowmobiling in the national forest, or just building a snowman together with your kids.

Our hideaway is backed up to the Lincoln National Forest, and overlooks the scenic Lane Ranch and James Canyon. Wildlife is a common sight in our park and in the valley below, with deer, elk, turkey, etc. Experience the peace and quiet that only nature can provide. Spend some quality time with the ones you care about. For a weekend, a week, or a month, our rustic cabins are just what you need to "get away from it all". Come and see what you've been missing.
